Fantastic success in sports diplomacy for MATE-GEAC
FISU (International University Sports Federation) have organized their 38th General Assembly where Ágnes Ancic-Valkai, the director of the Women Waterpolo Team has been elected to the Executive Committee. This means that Hungary has again a FISU representative after 2003.
At the General Assembly 176 countries are delegating their representatives to elect the Executive Commitee: 1 president, 1 firs vice president, 4 vice presidents, 1 treasurer and another 12 members for four years. Ágnes have been elected in the first round with another 11 members and 2 other members have been elected in the second round.
We consider this a huge success in Hungarian university sports diplomany and the life of MATE-GEAC because from this point we are represented in the most important international federation in university sports. Ágnes is taking a huge resposibility with this success and joy because from now on she is representing Hungary in the highest level of university sports.
Congratilations for Ágnes!
